Cane and rush are beautiful traditional materials, but years of use can leave seats and backs stretched, broken or missing entirely. Bucks County Furniture Restoration restores woven furniture using techniques selected for the construction and style of each piece.

We replace damaged or deteriorated cane and rush, restore woven seats and backs, and work with a variety of traditional patterns and applications. Before beginning, we assess the frame as well, identifying structural issues that should be addressed before new material is installed. The result is furniture that looks appropriate to the piece and is ready to be enjoyed again.
